1. What is an electronic ticket? What advantages does it have?

An electronic ticket is a paperless means of ticketing. In comparison to traditional paper tickets, the new electronic ticket system has important advantages:

• It is cheaper, • It is quicker - Once your payment has been authorized and you have received your confirmation email, you have all you need to travel! • You can’t lose your ticket • It is more environmentally friendly

E-ticketing is now standard throughout the travel industry. It is therefore advisable that you take a copy of your confirmation email/ receipt with you at all times when travelling or keep a note of your confirmation number.

Note: You will be required to have a printed copy of your E-ticket when checking in for flights to and from.

2. Is it necessary to carry my e-ticket with me?

Yes, it is mandatory for you to carry a copy of your e-ticket as sent by Makeyoutravel.com. In the event that you fail to present a copy of your e-ticket, Makeyoutravel.com will not be held responsible if the Airline does not issue a boarding pass/ disallows you from traveling.

3. How will I get my boarding pass for an e-Ticket?

You will need to show your e-Ticket confirmation email and e-Ticket number along with a photographic identity proof (passport, driver's license etc.) at the airport check-in counter of the airline. The airline representative will issue your boarding pass at that time.

4. I saw a lower airfare advertised today. Why can't I get that same airfare?

This may occur due to several reasons. Airlines generally restrict the number of seats that may be sold at a discounted fare. Those seats may have already been sold out by the time you accessed the system. Also, most discounted fares carry certain travel restrictions such as minimum/maximum stay requirements, advance purchase, blackout dates, etc. Airlines also keep changing the prices and we have no control on airline pricing as well.

5. How much baggage can I check in for my flight?

Baggage allowances can vary depending on the airline you are flying with. Each airline details their luggage policies on their websites.

To make your journey easier we recommend that you only carry items of value, or that you need during your flight, in your hand baggage. All other items should be placed in the hold baggage.

6. Can I amend my flight booking?

Please note that some fares are non-changeable from the time they are booked but in some cases airlines will charge an amendment fee to change your booking.

If changes are allowed a fee of Rs 1000 per person will be applied.

This is in addition to any fees charged by your airline.

7. Can I make a booking on Deposit.

Yes you can depending on the airlines fare rules restrictions and hotel policies which you would need to check with our agents. Usually if you are not travelling in a weeks time deposit option is available.

8. Acceptable forms of payment.

At MakeYouTravel we accept payment for tickets using a credit card, debit card, bank transfer, internet banking or you can also visit our office and pay by cash as well.

9. Is breakfast included in the hotel price?

If the room description makes no reference to breakfast, but can ask for a room with a ‘breakfast’ while booking your package. Please be aware that the price may change if additional breakfast is requested which was not originally included. Please check the details before booking.

10. Star Category for a Hotel is different on other websites ?

Hotel ratings are often used to classify hotels according to their quality. There are a wide variety of rating schemes used by different organizations around the world. Many have a system involving stars, with a greater number of stars indicating greater luxury. Due to the lack of a unified global system for rating hotels there could be a difference in rating a hotel on different websites..
